# OIM3690: Web Development with AI

## About this course
Introductory web development course (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs) in which students build web products with AI as a primary tool. The class meets TuTh 15:00-16:30 ET (In person, Gerber Hall 102) for 26 sessions over 15 weeks, 2026-09-01 to 2026-12-08. Students use AI tools on every assignment and are required to understand every line they submit.

- Per-session key concepts are in the API (/api/schedule.json, /api/week/{n}.json), not on the HTML pages
- /policies/ai/ defines what AI use is encouraged vs flagged
- /topics/{slug}/ pages contain the teaching content for each topic
- Session pages at /sessions/{date}/ show what was covered on a specific day (post-class notes)
